What Lighter Nights is

Lighter Nights is a lifestyle log for people who want to drink less alcohol. It records how you say your evenings went, counts streaks, estimates money not spent, offers mocktail recipes and draws shareable posters. That is all it does.

What it is not

It is not a medical device, a treatment programme, a diagnostic tool or a substitute for professional help. It gives no medical, psychological or nutritional advice. Alcohol dependence is a medical matter: if drinking is hurting you or someone else, or if stopping suddenly makes you feel unwell, contact a doctor or a local helpline. Do not rely on this app in an emergency.

Age

The app is for adults of legal drinking age in their country. By using it you confirm you are.

Estimates are estimates

The "kept" figure multiplies your own two inputs (typical spend, typical frequency) by your clear nights. It is a rough illustration, not accounting. Streaks and milestones depend entirely on what you tap; the app cannot verify any of it and does not try to.

Recipes

The mocktail recipes are free of alcohol as written. Check ingredients yourself for allergies and intolerances; substitutions are your own. Some recipes involve hot pans or hot liquids — the usual kitchen care applies.

The one-time unlock

The full bar, all posters and the insights page open with a single purchase made through Apple's App Store or Google Play. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Refunds follow the store's own policy; we cannot issue them directly. "Restore purchase" re-activates the unlock on another device signed in to the same store account.

Your content

Your log stays on your device and belongs to you. Posters you share are yours to post; the app name on them stays as drawn.

Our content

The recipes, texts, drawings, poster layouts and the app itself are the work of Adrina Software. You may use them within the app and share the posters the app makes; please do not copy the recipe collection or the artwork into other products.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on what the app shows, for lost data on your device, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health, or any liability that cannot be limited under the law of your country.

Changes and law

We may update the app and these terms; the date above moves when we do. German law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection where you live.
